Bop Bop Bop, Bop to the top!

Hold onto your basketballs and grab your pom poms -- City Youth Players is presenting Disney's HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL at the Vaughn City Playhouse! Opening night is tonight -- Wednesday February 28 at 7:30pm.

Yes, the wonderful group who brought you HONK!, FOOTLOOSE, ANNIE WARBUCKS, A CHORUS LINE and THE WIZ are breaking all ticket sales records at the City Playhouse with the premiere of Disney's HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL!

The writers did a great job adapting the movie for a stage production. It's a great ensemble piece with lots of singing, dancing, four-part harmony, and yes, even a basketball number! And my eldest, Myrna, is playing Kelsi Neilson, the "sawed off Sondheim" who pens the musical everyone wants to be in!

They are almost completely sold out but there might be a few single seats here and there so it's worth calling the box office at 905-882-SHOW (905-882-7469).
